hey i need to write an essay on why people in general like the music that they like. pls help me!!Mostly people like the music that they like is because they can relate it to their life, and it really has pure meaning in the lyrics.
For example, some children like songs about child abuse
When people break up, they usually listen to sad break up songs to make them feel better
It all depends on their mood and their lifestyles...
Another reason is because of the beat, melody and speed.I DON'T KNWOI am a music fanatic - therefore I do not like just one type of music. I like them all, for different reasons. Mostly just the different flavor of music. For pop songs, mostly the lyrics get to me and the music just helps set the mood. For rock, the guitar solos can really get my heart pumping. Classical can really help you think and relax. And surprisingly, one of my favorite styles of music is opera - because it takes a ton of talent to be able to do it. You don't have to be a good singer to become a pop star - just have to learn how to hold a note somewhat decent. You can't pull off opera, you have to have the talent to do it. Being a classically trained singer myself, I know opera is a style not many can do, and it really makes me proud of myself to know that I can pull it off.
